Williamsburg Bridals | Rachel's Bridal Portraits

The Gupton's are married now so I can finally post this blog of Rachel's bridal session. We had quite a windy day that day but that didn't keep us from getting some beautiful golden hour shots. Rachel hired Truly Yours Events to handle her wedding planning and they graciously allowed us to get some gorgeous shots of her in their bridal shop! I am so happy they did! Congratulations Rachel! Their wedding blog will be up soon!! Thanks for stopping by! Vendors Dress: Studio I Do Bridals- Marissa By Mori Lee

Jacari Senior Session | Class of 2018 | Neon District

Jacari was such a joy to get to know. From meeting just this once, I can tell that he has a very promising future ahead of him. We decided that the Neon District in Norfolk, Virginia was the best location for his senior portraits. The Neon District is full of bright paintings from all sorts of different artists. Growing up in Norfolk, it is pretty neat seeing this happen! Jacari is a senior at Nansemond River High School and will be attending VCU in the fall. During our session, I found out that Jacari is a pretty big track star. He has quite a good head on his shoulders. I can't wait to see what your future holds for him. Thanks for stopping by! Alex

Megan and Tee | Maternity | Windsor Castle Park

Oh my gosh! I have hit the golden hour jackpot these past couple of sessions! Megan and Tee are expecting their little boy in the next ten weeks and I am so happy for them! I have known Megan for a few years now since we took some classes together at Old Dominion University and now we work in the same school together. It has been awesome watching her through her pregnancy. She was absolutely glowing on their maternity session. Motherhood suits her well. They are expecting a little boy and couldn't be happier. Thank you for stopping by!

Anna and Patrick | Colonial Williamsburg Engagements

Not too long ago, I received a email from Anna's mother asking if I would be apart of Anna and Patrick's wedding in May. Of course, I said yes and I have been excited ever since. Just by emailing back and forth with Anna, I knew she was a down to earth gal. From the minute we said hi to this adorable couple, we couldn't stop smiling. Anna told me that Patrick loved history so Colonial Williamsburg was the perfect place for their engagement session. And lucky us, all the tulips and cherry blossoms were in full bloom. The golden hour was absolute perfect and our couple giggled the whole time. I can't wait to witness these two getting married next month! Thank you for stopping by!

I am so thankful that every year, I feel that I get a little wiser. This year has been the best so far. I have done some soul searching this year and I wanted share some of my techniques and ways of thinking that have made me very happy most of the time. Of course, I have my bad days. I had one yesterday. We are human so we are allowed to have days like that. Some days I am super grouchy and some days I am so happy that I can be a little annoying to others. :) Any who, here are some ways I live by to make sure that I live my life to the fullest. 1.
