Emily + Austin | Married |Yorktown, Virginia

Oh what a wonderful day it was celebrating these two! They are such a special couple. Christian and I first met Emily and Austin last year when Emily's brother got married and we were privileged to have been apart of that wedding. So when Emily contacted me asking us to be apart of their wedding day, I was ecstatic!

The days leading into their wedding were absolutely beautiful minus a thunderstorm. On their wedding day, it was no different. A little bit of a chilly wind, but gorgeous for a March wedding. The day started out at Chestnut Memorial United in Newport News then a short drive to Yorktown Freight Shed for the reception. We were ahead of schedule so we had ample time for portraits which made my heart happy. Emily did a gorgeous job coordinating her wedding colors and boy did they pop on the sandy beaches of the York River.

The night was full of laughter and happy tears as guests witnessed the beautiful union of Emily and Austin. It was our privilege to be apart of it!
